Lite Laminate acoustic underlay system for reduction of airborne and impact noise when used beneath laminate floors.

Our Lite Laminate acoustic underlay system for use beneath laminate floors and other thin t&g flooring is designed specifically to reduce impact (walking/footfall) and airborne noise created when walking on a laminate, thin engineered wood and other thin wooden floors.
Walking on these surfaces in outdoor shoes can create a large amount of impact as well as airborne noise (due to the hard surface) this, along with movement of furniture can often be a nuisance to the people living below.
The system is made up of two parts,
Our Acoustic Laminate Underlay a 4.2mm high density resilient rubber sponge with a foil faced moisture and thermal barrier laminated to one side. This can easily be cut with a knife or scissors. Click HERE to see just how much better this product is than standard Laminate Underlay. Beneath the 4.2mm layer is a further two layers of our Soundproofing Mats which perform as well as lead at reducing normal levels of airborne noise such as talking and music played at normal volumes.
The system is supplied with the following products included;
A layer of Acoustic Laminate Underlay - (11m x 1.37m x 4.2mm thick.) per roll
2 x Layer of Soundproofing Mats - (1.8m x 1.2m / 6ft x 4ft) per mat
Special Spray Adhesive (15oz 426 gram cans)
Aluminium Jointing Tape - (46 linear metres x 48mm wide)
The system is easy to fit with little D.I.Y experience and is simply laid directly on the floor. There is no need for additional laminate underlay when using this system.
Once ordered the products are all delivered to your address (Access Permitting) with full step by step install instructions.
Please note: This system is effective at reducing normal noise levels, that should not usually be heard, for example talking, radio and TV sound. Loud music, loud speech and bass noise will always be audible although its intensity will be reduced.
